In Thursday's non-league game, the Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) football team knocked off the host Center Vikings (Center, CO), by a final score of 30-8.

The Thunderbolts (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Burlington (Burlington, CO). The Cougars come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Burlington was dropped by Wray (Wray, CO), 34-0, in a league game.

The Vikings now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centauri for a 1A Southern Peaks game on Friday, October 1.
