September 16, 2021: Birmingham, AL 35222 Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Knights clash with the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 18. Altamont will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cullman (Cullman, AL).
With the loss, Shelby County drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL) to clash with the Aggies in a 5A Area 8 match on Monday, September 20. The Aggies come into the match with a record of 7-3. Sylacauga won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Winterboro (Alpine, AL)
