The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) volleyball overcame the host Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, George Washington upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Patriots host Princeton (Princeton, WV) to face the Tigers in a Mountain State outing on Saturday, October 2. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 4-4.
