Texas High School Football - Bangs victorious over Merkel

The Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) football overcame the host Merkel Badgers (Merkel, TX), 28-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 bout, on Friday, September 23. Bangs will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 52-7 non-league win over Hico (Hico, TX).

The Badgers (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Coahoma thwarted Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 35-7, in a non-league bout.
