In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Lyons Lions football squad scored a good 36-16 victory over the Merino Rams.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Byers Bulldogs (Byers, CO) in a A-8 League 5 (8 Man) match, on Thursday, September 29. Lyons will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 28-22 non-league loss to Caliche (Iliff, CO).

The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO). The Eagles enter the A-8 League 4 (8 Man) match with a 2-1 record.
