September 16, 2022: Lebanon, KY 40033 The Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) football overcame the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY), 21-12 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Commanders clash with the Eminence Warriors (Eminence, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 23. Washington County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Webster County (Dixon, KY).
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bears enter the 4A District 3 bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Spencer County was toppled by Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 34-14, in a non-league bout.
