The Northwestern Wildcats football team (Albion, PA), was tipped 28-21 in Friday's league challenge with the host Mercyhurst Prep Lakers (Erie, PA)

The Lakers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Franklin was tipped by Oil City (Oil City, PA), 34-0, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oil City for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 23. Northwestern will meet a Oilers team coming off a 34-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Oilers record now stands at 4-0.
