Pennsylvania High School Football - Valley drops to Mt. Pleasant
September 16, 2022: Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 In Friday's non-league game, the Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Valley Vikings (New Kensington, PA), by a final score of 40-13.
The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Freeport was dropped by Armstrong (Kittanning, PA), 49-7, in a non-league game.
The Vikings now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uniontown for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Valley will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
