September 16, 2022: Pella, IA 50219 Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA), 45-0 in a league test.
With the win, Pella Christian improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sigourney-Keota (Sigourney, IA) to confront the Cobras in a 1A District 6 test on Friday, September 23. The Cobras go into the test with a record of 2-2. Sigourney-Keota won 35-13 in their recent league test against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA)
With the loss, Van Buren County moves to 2-2 on the season. The Warriors host Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to confront the Comets in a 1A District 6 test on Friday, September 23. The Comets go into the test with a record of 0-4. Cardinal lost 56-20 in their recent league test against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)
