September 16, 2022: Sevierville, TN 37862 The West Rebels (Knoxville, TN) football routed the host Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN), 49-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Rebels face the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 22. West will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Tornadoes enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 46-20 league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN).
The Smoky Bears (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against William Blount (Maryville, TN). The Governors enter the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, William Blount was overwhelmed by Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), 35-0, in a league bout.
