The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack football team (Emerson, NE), was knocked off 34-26 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE)

The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE). The Wildcats come into the D1 District 5 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Hartington-Newcastle was knocked off by Crofton (Crofton, NE), 53-35, in a league challenge.

The Wolfpack now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homer for a D1 District 5 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 23.
