North Carolina High School Soccer - Westchester Country Day nudges Davidson Day
September 16, 2022: High Point, NC 27265 Westchester Country Day Wildcats (High Point, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Westchester Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 9-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC).
With the loss, Davidson Day drops to 8-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC) to meet the Lions in a Foothills Athletic test on Tuesday, September 27. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-3.
