Tennessee High School Soccer - Bearden knocks off Briarcrest Christian
September 16, 2023: Knoxville, TN 37919 Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the William Blount Governors (Maryville, TN) in a AAA District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Bearden will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Governors enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 9-0 league loss to Heritage (Maryville, TN).
The Saints now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's Episcopal for a D II-AA West challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Briarcrest Christian will confront a Turkeys team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS). The Turkeys record now stands at 7-5.
