September 16, 2023: Moon Township, PA 15108 The Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) soccer bounced the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), 5-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Moon Area moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA) to confront the Cougars in a WPIAL AAA 4 bout on Monday, September 18. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 4-4. Blackhawk lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Beaver (Beaver, PA)
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Warren Dragons (Warren, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 bout, on Monday, September 18. McDowell will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Dragons enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).
