Alabama High School Volleyball - Hillcrest tips Sipsey Valley
September 16, 2023: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Alexandria Valley Cubs (Alexandria, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 21. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
With the loss, Sipsey Valley drops to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Hale County (Moundville, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a match on Tuesday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 0-1. Hale County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL)
