New York High School Soccer - Columbia knocks off La Salle Institute
September 16, 2023: East Greenbush, NY 12061 The La Salle Institute Cadets soccer team (Troy, NY), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY)
With the win, Columbia advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Troy (Troy, NY) to play the Flying Horses in a Suburban Council- Gray outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Flying Horses go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Troy won 2-1 in their recent league outing against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY)
In their next game, the Cadets play the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs (Cobleskill, NY) in a Colonial Council outing, on Monday, September 18. La Salle Institute will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY).
