Illinois High School Soccer - Kaneland overwhelmed by West Aurora
September 16, 2023: Aurora, IL 60506 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), saw West Aurora's soccer squad triumph over Kaneland by a margin of 7-0.
The Blackhawks now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Romeoville for a Suburban Prairie test on Tuesday, September 19. West Aurora will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Kaneland drops to 5-6 on the season. The Knights host LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Interstate Eight test on Monday, September 18. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 5-5. LaSalle-Peru won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Princeton (Princeton, IL)
