September 16, 2023: Lake Oswego, OR 97035 The Marist Spartans soccer team (Eugene, OR), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR)
With the win, Westside Christian advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Riverdale (Portland, OR) to battle the Mavericks in a 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 outing on Monday, September 18. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Riverdale won 3-0 in their recent league outing against De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR)
In their next game, the Spartans battle the North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR) in a 4A Sky Em outing, on Tuesday, September 19. Marist will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.
