In Saturday's non-league contest, the Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), by a margin of 12-0.

With the triumph, Riverdale Ridge moves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Ravens host Mountain View (Loveland, CO) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, September 18. The Mountain Lions come into the contest with a record of 1-13. Mountain View lost 16-3 in their recent non-league contest against Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO) in a 5A Jeffco contest, on Monday, September 18. Valor Christian will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 8-6 record after their 10-1 league win over Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO).
