California High School Volleyball - Baker over Desert Christian
September 16, 2023: Lancaster, CA 93536 Baker Braves (Baker, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Braves battle the Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Baker will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Taft (Taft, CA).
With the loss, Desert Christian drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a Heritage match on Tuesday, September 19. The Cardinals come into the match with a record of 6-3. Santa Clarita Christian won 3-0 in their recent league match against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA)
