September 16, 2023: Slaughter, LA 70777 Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bears battle the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Highland Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA).
With the loss, Slaughter Community Charter drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Knights host East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-4. East Iberville lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Northeast (Pride, LA)
