September 16, 2023: Jesup, IA 50648 North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Knights battle the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. North Cedar will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Orioles come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA).
With the loss, Jesup drops to 10-11 on the campaign. The J-hawks host Union (La Porte City, IA) to battle the Knights in a North Iowa Cedar - East match on Tuesday, September 19. The Knights come into the match with a record of 18-4. Union won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Mason City (Mason City, IA)
