September 16, 2023: Three Springs, PA 17264 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) and the host Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), saw Juniata's volleyball squad nip Southern Huntingdon County by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Juniata upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Indians host Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Penns Valley Area won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Richland (Johnstown, PA)
The Rockets now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Everett for a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. Southern Huntingdon County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
