September 16, 2023: Portland, OR 97220 The Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) volleyball nudged the visiting Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Parkrose upgrades its record to 2-12 on the year. The Broncos host Putnam (Milwaukie, OR) to face the Kingsmen in a 5A Northwest Oregon outing on Tuesday, September 19. The Kingsmen go into the outing with a record of 3-6. Putnam lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Gresham (Gresham, OR)
The Falcons now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Grove for a 6A Pacific outing on Monday, September 18. Liberty will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Oregon City (Oregon City, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 8-4.
