Indiana High School Volleyball - Whiting tips North Newton

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) volleyball squad edged the host North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Oilers battle the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 16. Whiting will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Potters come into the contest with a 12-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Limestone (Bartonville, IL).

With the loss, North Newton drops to 4-13 on the campaign. The Spartans host Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to battle the Kougars in a non-league contest on Monday, September 18. The Kougars come into the contest with a record of 13-8. Kankakee Valley lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Andrean (Merrillville, IN)
