Iowa High School Volleyball - Osage tips Van Meter
September 16, 2023: Van Meter, IA 50261 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) and the host Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA), saw Osage's volleyball squad nip Van Meter by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Osage upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Green Devils travel to Hempstead (Dubuque, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Hempstead won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA)
The Bulldogs now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Des Moines Christian for a West Central bout on Tuesday, September 19. Van Meter will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Newton (Newton, IA). The Lions record now stands at 15-3.
