September 16, 2023: Edgard, LA 70049 West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Rams clash with the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 19. West St. John will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA).
With the loss, South Plaquemines drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 19.
