California High School Volleyball - Taft tips Villa Park
September 16, 2023: Villa Park, CA 92861 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the host Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA), saw Taft's volleyball squad nip Villa Park by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 21-4 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA) to play the Jesters in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Jesters go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Saint Joseph won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Villa Park (Villa Park, CA)
The Spartans now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to El Modena for a North Hills bout on Tuesday, September 19. Villa Park will play a Vanguards squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Vanguards record now stands at 10-12.
