Ohio High School Soccer - Edison toppled by Ridgewood
September 16, 2024: West Lafayette, OH 43845 Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ridgewood advances its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 6-1. Tuscarawas Valley won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH)
The Wildcats now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Liverpool for a Ohio Valley (OVAC) test on Tuesday, September 17. Edison will clash with a Potters team coming off a 2-2 league Cambridge (Cambridge, OH). The Potters record now stands at 2-5.
