North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northeastern can't get by Albemarle School
September 16, 2024: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Albemarle School advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Colts travel to Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC) to face the Rams in a test on Tuesday, September 17. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-3. Ridgecroft lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
The Eagles now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host First Flight for a test on Tuesday, September 24. Northeastern will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-3.
