September 16, 2024: Marion, VA 24354 The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) volleyball held off the visiting Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Scarlet Hurricanes now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Chilhowie for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 17. Marion will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Northwood drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA) to clash with the Black Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 17.
