Georgia High School Softball - Marion County bounces Hawkinsville
September 16, 2024: Buena Vista, GA 31803 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) and the visiting Hawkinsville Red Devils (Hawkinsville, GA), observed Marion County's softball team notch a victory over Hawkinsville by a tally of 8-0.
The Eagles (11-10) will now prepare for their bout against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 6 bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, Crawford County was routed by Spalding (Griffin, GA), 11-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, September 17. Hawkinsville will attempt to advance on its 10-6 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 17-1 league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA).
