September 16, 2024: Cleveland, OH 44105 Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen (Cleveland, OH), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Laurel improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Gators travel to Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-8. Trinity lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Independence (Independence, OH)
The Ironmen now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host John F. Kennedy Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Cleveland Central Catholic will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Liberty (Youngstown, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
