Louisiana High School Volleyball - Northwood overwhelmed by Ruston
September 16, 2024: Ruston, LA 71270 Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ruston advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to face the Trojans in a Division I District 2 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 9-1. Alexandria won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Marksville (Marksville, LA)
The Falcons now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodlawn-Shreveport for a Division II District 1 test on Tuesday, September 17. Northwood will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
