September 16, 2024: Trenton, TN 38382 Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, TN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Peabody improves its record to 5-8 on the season. The Golden Tide travel to Madison (Jackson, TN) to face the Mustangs in a A District 12 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 10-4. Madison lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Huntingdon (Huntingdon, TN)
The Tigers now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington for a AA District 15 test on Tuesday, September 17. Ripley will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 9-11.
