California High School Flag Football - McClatchy crushed by Del Campo
September 16, 2025: Fair Oaks, CA 95628 Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football squad smash the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 51-0 in a non-league match.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen come into the test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Placer triumphed over Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA), 14-13, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, McClatchy drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA) to play the Lancers in a challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Lancers go into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Cordova lost 47-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA)
