Illinois High School Soccer - Buffalo Grove nudges Barrington
September 16, 2025: Barrington, IL 60010 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) and the host Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL), saw Buffalo Grove's soccer squad hold off Barrington by a count of 4-3.
The Bison (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Prospect nipped Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 3-0, in a league match.
The Fillies/Broncos now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeling for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. Barrington will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 1-1 non-league Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
