Ohio High School Soccer - West Geauga nudges Lutheran West
September 16, 2025: Rocky River, OH 44116 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) and the host Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH), saw West Geauga's soccer squad hold off Lutheran West by a score of 1-0.
The Wolverines (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Beachwood (Beachwood, OH). The Bison enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Beachwood was tipped by Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Name for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Lutheran West will meet a Green Wave team coming off a 2-2 non-league Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-5.
