September 16, 2025: Des Plaines, IL 60018 Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), 4-2 in a non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Evanston for a Central Suburban - South bout on Thursday, September 18. Maine South will play a Wildkits squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Maine West moves to 2-3 on the year. The Warriors host Niles West (Skokie, IL) to play the Wolves in a Central Suburban - North bout on Friday, September 19. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Niles West won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)
