September 16, 2025: Morristown, IN 46161 Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Southwestern moves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Spartans host Hauser (Hope, IN) to confront the Jets in a Mid-Hoosier outing on Friday, September 19. The Jets enter the outing with a record of 8-2. Hauser won 7-1 in their recent non-league outing against Austin (Austin, IN)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Franklin County Wildcats (Brookville, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Morristown will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-9 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN).
