North Carolina High School Soccer - Salisbury knocks off Northwest Cabarrus
September 16, 2025: Concord, NC 28027 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), saw Salisbury's soccer squad prevail over Northwest Cabarrus by a count of 4-0.
The Hornets (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the South Piedmont 4A/5A battle with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Carson by Concord (Concord, NC), 4-1, in a league match.
The Trojans now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Rowan for a South Piedmont 4A/5A match on Thursday, September 18. Northwest Cabarrus will meet a Raiders team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-7.
