Missouri High School Softball - Chillicothe bounces Cameron
September 16, 2025: Cameron, MO 64429 The Chillicothe Hornets softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Cameron Dragons to 0 in the Hornets non-league win on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Savannah for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. Chillicothe will meet a Savages squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Maryville (Maryville, MO). The Savages record now stands at 3-3.
The Dragons (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Pius X got by Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO), 11-8, in a non-league battle.
