September 16, 2025: Anderson, TX 77830 The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team (Anderson, TX), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Madisonville Mustangs (Madisonville, TX)
The Mustangs (24-7) will now prepare for their contest against Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 14-20 record. In their last contest, Giddings dropped by Brenham (Brenham, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Owls now own a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leon for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Anderson-Shiro will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 19-5.
