September 16, 2025: Leesburg, AL 35983 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) and the visiting Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL), saw Sand Rock's volleyball squad notch a victory over Anniston by a score of 2-0.
With the win, Sand Rock improves its record to 9-11 on the season. The Wildcats host Gaston (Gadsden, AL) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 13 battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-7.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee County for a 4A Area 12 battle on Tuesday, September 16. Anniston will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 21-3.
