Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Eagles come into the Howard County challenge with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Raiders meet the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Atholton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lightning come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD).
