September 16, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70815 Belaire Bengals (Baton Rouge, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Thrive Academy Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Belaire improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bengals travel to Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-2.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Thrive Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA).
