California High School Volleyball - Big Valley Christian can't get by River Islands

The River Islands Riptide nudged the visiting Big Valley Christian Lions volleyball team by a tally of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Riptide now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 17. River Islands will play a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Big Valley Christian drops to 14-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to play the Bullfrogs in a Mother Lode League outing on Thursday, September 18. The Bullfrogs come into the outing with a record of 6-7. Bret Harte won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Mountain Oaks (San Andreas, CA)
