September 16, 2025: Annapolis, MD 21401 Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Broadneck improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bruins host Meade (Fort Meade, MD) to face the Mustangs in a Class 4A East Region I test on Thursday, September 18. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 0-1.
Next, the Falcons play the South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) in a Class 3A East Region II challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Severna Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Annapolis Area Christian (Severn, MD).
