The Chariho Chargers volleyball team (Wood River Junction, RI), was beaten 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI)

The Oakers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders enter the Division 1 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Prout beat Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Chariho will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI).
