September 16, 2025: Troy Mills, IA 52344 Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Don Bosco improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Dons travel to Janesville (Janesville, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 9-3. Janesville won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clarksville (Clarksville, IA)
Next, the Lynx meet the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings (Edgewood, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. North Linn will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 9-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Waterloo East (Waterloo, IA).
